Prepare the robot using its exact manual
Before off-season storage, follow the manufacturer’s removal, cleaning and drying instructions. Clean the filter and inspect accessible parts as directed. Store the robot, power supply and cable in the documented arrangement, protected from conditions outside their specified limits.
Maytronics recommends a protected, ventilated storage location for its corded Dolphin guidance. Cordless Liberty models have separate battery and storage instructions. Do not transfer a generic temperature range or charging schedule between these families; use the manual for the exact regional model.
Separate cable care from battery care
For a corded robot, coil and store the cable without forcing sharp bends and keep the power supply in its required conditions. For a battery model, record the maker’s storage charge and recharge requirements on a calendar. Do not invent a universal “leave it fully charged all winter” rule.
Before the next season, inspect the equipment and follow its restart instructions. Resolve visible damage or an abnormal condition before use. Store the model number and manual with the cleaner so maintenance does not depend on a remembered instruction for another machine.
